Movies & Books or is it Books & Movies?

Favorite Books into Movies

1. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
This is another one I saw the movie first too but I rather read the book anyday tthan watch the movie. The book is so much better than the movie.

2. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank I read the book for years over and over before I saw the movie and I will say the book is better than the movie.

3. Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume
Again, I read this book a hundred times growing up, this is my favorite Judy Blume book and I haven’t seen the entire movie but it is on my watch list.

Favorite Movies from Books
4. Amanda Knox by Amanda Knox
I have watched this movie on Netflix and it is one that I highly recommend and this is the next book I am buying and reading.

5. Fried Green Tomatoes by Fannie Flagg
I have started this book many times but have not been able to read it, but the movie is one of my favorites and is always on my ‘watch again’ list.

6. The Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
I remember reading this story several times in school and it has just been recently that I sat down and watched the movie. The movie is better than the book.

7. Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
My daughter’s favorite and I can even countnon how many times I have seen this movie. I will have to admit I have never actually finished reading this play of William Shakespeare. It is one of my favorite plays but my favorite on to read by him is ‘Hamlet’

8. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Okay , I will admit that I have never read ANY of the Harry Potter books but I have seen every movie at least a hundred times. My daughter loves Harry Potter and this is one we have watched the most of because it is my favorite one for the introductions of new characters.

9. Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks
Okay, I will have to admit that the movie is better than the book and more than likely it is because I saw the movie before I read the book and also because my favorite actor plays the lead role.

10.The Fault in the Stars by John Green
Again I have seen the movie without reading the book, the book is on my ‘to read: list but I just have not had the time to read this summer.
